Jellycat Amuseables Snowflake

At 21 cm, Jellycat Amuseables Snowflake is a white amuseable built to be carried rather than shelved.

What it is like to hold

Amuseables work because the joke is gentle. Amuseables Snowflake is white, given a face and two feet and otherwise left to be the thing it is, and the restraint is the reason it still looks right on a shelf a year later.

Size and fit

Amuseables Snowflake measures 21 cm. Heights are taken from the base to the top of the head rather than the tip of an ear, which is the figure the size guide lists, so a shelf or a cot space can be judged before it arrives.

Part of the Amuseables range

Amuseables Snowflake sits within the Amuseables range. We keep a range together on the shelf and on the site, because the pieces were designed to be seen that way, and because the sizes within a range often overlap enough that a single outfit fits more than one of them. The size guide sets out the centimetre bands, and every garment we make is listed against one of them.

Made from, and looking after it

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Spot cleaning handles most of what happens day to day, and a full wash is rarely needed more than once or twice a year unless it has been somewhere muddy.

Who it is for

It sits on the novelty and fun side of the shop and is most often bought for Christmas and a birthday. The kind of thing that ends up staying, rather than being put away after a week.

Where this sits in our shop

Two things happen in this shop. We make outfits for plush companions, and we stock the companions themselves, Amuseables Snowflake included. Keeping both under one roof is the only way to be certain that what we sell to dress a plush actually fits the plush we sold.
