Jellycat Amuseable Mitten
Amuseable Mitten comes in a warm, generous red that carries its own occasion. It has presence, which is a strange thing to say about something this soft, and true. The colour runs right through, underside included. Easy to give and difficult to hand back.

Jellycat Amuseables Mitten is a red amuseable from Jellycat, and it stands 25 cm tall.
What it is like to hold
Amuseables work because the joke is gentle. Amuseables Mitten is red and white, given a face and two feet and otherwise left to be the thing it is, and the restraint is the reason it still looks right on a shelf a year later.
How big it is
Amuseables Mitten measures 25 cm. Heights are taken from the base to the top of the head rather than the tip of an ear, which is the figure the size guide lists, so a shelf or a cot space can be judged before it arrives.
Part of the Amuseables range
Amuseables Mitten is part of Amuseables. If you have one already, the rest of that range is the obvious place to look next, and the centimetre sizes overlap often enough that an outfit bought for one will usually fit another. We keep the range listed together for exactly that reason, and the size guide has the full table of what fits what.
Made from, and looking after it
Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Reshape it while it is damp and it dries the way it was made. That takes a minute and it is the only part of the process that really matters.
Who it is for
It sits on the novelty and fun side of the shop and is most often bought for Christmas and a birthday. The kind of thing that ends up staying, rather than being put away after a week.
About A Flying Wish
What we are trying to build is a shop where a companion and something for it to wear can be chosen in the same visit without any measuring anxiety. Amuseables Mitten is part of that, sized and banded so the outfit pages can be read against it directly.
