Jellycat Amuseables Toilet Roll

Jellycat Amuseables Toilet Roll is a white amuseable from Jellycat, and it stands 15 cm tall.

What it is like to hold

This is one of the Amuseables, the range where everyday objects are given a face and a pair of feet. The colourway is white, and it holds its shape well enough to sit up on its own rather than slump against whatever is behind it.

Measurements and fit

Amuseables Toilet Roll measures 15 cm. Heights are taken from the base to the top of the head rather than the tip of an ear, which is the figure the size guide lists, so a shelf or a cot space can be judged before it arrives.

Part of the Amuseables range

This one comes from the Amuseables range. Jellycat design in ranges rather than one piece at a time, and it shows: the proportions, the face and the finish carry across, which is why collectors tend to buy two or three from the same family rather than one from each. Our own outfits are cut to centimetre bands for the same reason, so a piece bought a year later still has something in the wardrobe that fits it.

Fabric and washing

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Washing by hand keeps the nap on the fabric, which is the part a machine cycle flattens first, and it is the difference between a plush that still looks new after two years and one that does not.

Suitability

It is as fitting for a birthday as for no particular occasion at all. It is also one of the safer choices when you do not know the room it is going into, because it does not insist on a colour scheme.

Where this sits in our shop

A Flying Wish began with outfits and grew into the plush that wear them. Amuseables Toilet Roll is stocked here because it fits that idea, and because the pieces we design are made to last as long as the companion they are made for.
