Jellycat Amuseables Treasure Chest

Jellycat Amuseables Treasure Chest stands 19 cm tall, a brown amuseable with the quiet heft Jellycat is known for.

A closer look

This is one of the Amuseables, the range where everyday objects are given a face and a pair of feet. The colourway is brown and gold, and it holds its shape well enough to sit up on its own rather than slump against whatever is behind it.

Measurements and fit

The height is 19 cm. That single figure is what our outfit listings are matched against, which is why it is printed here rather than a rough category. If you are buying a garment at the same time, it is the only measurement you need.

Part of the Amuseables range

The Amuseables range is where Amuseables Treasure Chest comes from. Ranges matter more than they might seem to with Jellycat, because the character of a piece is set as much by the family it belongs to as by the animal it is. Buying within one range is the reliable way to end up with a shelf that looks deliberate rather than accumulated, and our outfits are sized to follow.

Fabric and washing

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Kept out of direct sunlight the colour holds for years. Fading is the one kind of wear that cannot be undone, and a sunny windowsill does it faster than handling ever will.

Suitability

It is as fitting for a birthday as for no particular occasion at all. It is also one of the safer choices when you do not know the room it is going into, because it does not insist on a colour scheme.

Why we stock it

Our outfits are cut, sewn and finished by us, not bought in, and the plush we stock are chosen because our pieces fit them. Amuseables Treasure Chest is one of those. If you are buying both at once, the centimetre band on this page is the number the garment listings are matched against.
