More about Toys Outfits
Stuffed animal clothes for the companion that already lives in your house. This is the main wardrobe at A Flying Wish: thirteen kinds of garment, sewn by us and cut for plush toys rather than resized from doll patterns. Dresses lead it, but there is outerwear for the cold, nightwear for bedtime and knitwear for the long middle of the year.
What is actually in the wardrobe
Dresses are the largest group by a wide margin, followed by sweaters, overalls and outerwear. After those come pyjamas, tops, hoodies, full outfit sets, cardigans, skirts, shorts, rompers and a short run of accessories.
It is a wardrobe rather than a costume rail. The pieces are meant to be combined, swapped and worn in ordinary rotation, which is why the colours stay within a range that works together instead of each outfit being its own island.
Dressed for the occasion, not only for a photograph
A coat exists because companions get carried outdoors. Pyjamas exist because a great many of them are put to bed properly, by someone who takes that seriously. Overalls and sweaters cover the ordinary weeks when nothing in particular is happening. We make all three because all three get worn.
Sizes, and who each piece suits
Most of this wardrobe is cut to 17 cm (157 pieces), 28 cm (95) and 18 cm (93), with a smaller run at 36 cm, 47 cm and 56 cm for larger plush. Just under half the pieces are cut to suit any companion; the rest are made with a clearer direction in mind.
Every listing names its size and the companion it was made for. The choice is meant to be settled before checkout rather than discovered after delivery.
Built to be worn more than once
Nothing here is made to be admired once and put away. Seams are finished to survive a garment being pulled off in a hurry, and fabrics are chosen to come back from a wash looking like themselves. A wardrobe earns its place by still being in use a year later.
