Jellycat Amuseable Hot Red Heart

Jellycat Amuseables Hot Red Heart arrives as a red amuseable, 11 cm from base to ear tip, soft the whole way through.

The piece itself

This is one of the Amuseables, the range where everyday objects are given a face and a pair of feet. The colourway is red, and it holds its shape well enough to sit up on its own rather than slump against whatever is behind it.

Measurements and fit

Amuseables Hot Red Heart measures 11 cm. Heights are taken from the base to the top of the head rather than the tip of an ear, which is the figure the size guide lists, so a shelf or a cot space can be judged before it arrives.

The collection it belongs to

Amuseables Hot Red Heart belongs to Jellycat’s Amuseables range, which is the part of the catalogue we stock most deeply because it is the part customers come back for. Pieces from one range tend to sit well together, so if you are building a set rather than buying a single companion it is worth looking across the rest of it. We list what is in stock on the Amuseables pages, and the sizes are given in centimetres throughout so you can see at a glance which of our outfits will fit which piece.

Made from, and looking after it

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Reshape it while it is damp and it dries the way it was made. That takes a minute and it is the only part of the process that really matters.

Suitability

It reads as novelty and fun, which makes it an easy choice for Valentine’s Day and a birthday, and it is one of the pieces people come back for a second time once they have given the first.

Why we stock it

Two things happen in this shop. We make outfits for plush companions, and we stock the companions themselves, Amuseables Hot Red Heart included. Keeping both under one roof is the only way to be certain that what we sell to dress a plush actually fits the plush we sold.
