Jellycat Wiggedy Phone

Meet Jellycat Wiggedy Phone, a grey amuseable of 15 cm that settles easily into the crook of an arm.

About Wiggedy Phone

This is one of the Amuseables, the range where everyday objects are given a face and a pair of feet. The colourway is grey, and it holds its shape well enough to sit up on its own rather than slump against whatever is behind it.

Size and fit

Wiggedy Phone measures 15 cm. Heights are taken from the base to the top of the head rather than the tip of an ear, which is the figure the size guide lists, so a shelf or a cot space can be judged before it arrives.

Where it sits in the Jellycat range

Wiggedy Phone belongs to Jellycat’s Wiggedy range, which is the part of the catalogue we stock most deeply because it is the part customers come back for. Pieces from one range tend to sit well together, so if you are building a set rather than buying a single companion it is worth looking across the rest of it. We list what is in stock on the Wiggedy pages, and the sizes are given in centimetres throughout so you can see at a glance which of our outfits will fit which piece.

Fabric and washing

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Kept out of direct sunlight the colour holds for years. Fading is the one kind of wear that cannot be undone, and a sunny windowsill does it faster than handling ever will.

Choosing it as a gift

We list it under novelty and fun, and it is picked here mostly for a birthday and no particular reason at all. Big enough to notice when it is unwrapped, and not so big that it has to find a permanent home the same day.

About A Flying Wish

Two things happen in this shop. We make outfits for plush companions, and we stock the companions themselves, Wiggedy Phone included. Keeping both under one roof is the only way to be certain that what we sell to dress a plush actually fits the plush we sold.
