Jellycat Wiggedy Camera

Jellycat Wiggedy Camera is 17 cm of grey amuseable, and the weight of it is the first thing anyone notices.

The piece itself

Wiggedy Camera comes from the Amuseables, which take a familiar object and make a character of it. The colours run grey and black, and the fabric has the faint nap that stops a plush looking flat in daylight, which is most of why these photograph as well as they do.

Size and fit

The measurement is 17 cm. Worth knowing to the centimetre rather than roughly, because our outfits are listed by the height they are cut for and a few centimetres is the difference between a dress that closes and one that does not. Measure base to head, and the size guide will tell you the rest.

The collection it belongs to

This one comes from the Wiggedy range. Jellycat design in ranges rather than one piece at a time, and it shows: the proportions, the face and the finish carry across, which is why collectors tend to buy two or three from the same family rather than one from each. Our own outfits are cut to centimetre bands for the same reason, so a piece bought a year later still has something in the wardrobe that fits it.

Materials and care

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Nothing here needs special products. Warm water and a mild detergent are what the fabric was finished with in the first place, and anything stronger works against it.

Suitability

It reads as novelty and fun, which makes it an easy choice for a birthday and no particular reason at all, and it is one of the pieces people come back for a second time once they have given the first.

About A Flying Wish

We are an outfit house first. The plush we stock, Wiggedy Camera among them, are the companions those outfits are made for, and we list every garment by the centimetre band it fits so nothing has to be guessed at. Each piece is checked before it is wrapped and sent.
