Jellycat Amuseable Microphone

At 21 cm, Jellycat Amuseables Microphone is a grey amuseable built to be carried rather than shelved.

The piece itself

This is one of the Amuseables, the range where everyday objects are given a face and a pair of feet. The colourway is grey and black, and it holds its shape well enough to sit up on its own rather than slump against whatever is behind it.

How big it is

The measurement is 21 cm. Worth knowing to the centimetre rather than roughly, because our outfits are listed by the height they are cut for and a few centimetres is the difference between a dress that closes and one that does not. Measure base to head, and the size guide will tell you the rest.

The collection it belongs to

Amuseables Microphone is part of Amuseables. If you have one already, the rest of that range is the obvious place to look next, and the centimetre sizes overlap often enough that an outfit bought for one will usually fit another. We keep the range listed together for exactly that reason, and the size guide has the full table of what fits what.

Materials and care

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Reshape it while it is damp and it dries the way it was made. That takes a minute and it is the only part of the process that really matters.

Choosing it as a gift

Filed under novelty and fun, and chosen here for a birthday and no particular reason at all more than anything else. It reads as considered rather than expensive, which is usually the harder thing to get right in a gift.

Where this sits in our shop

A Flying Wish stocks Jellycat plush alongside the outfits we design and make ourselves. Every piece is designed with purpose, made to fit many beloved plush companions, and the two halves of the shop are meant to be used together. Amuseables Microphone is one of the plush our outfits are cut to fit, and the size guide sets out which pieces work with which band.
