Jellycat Amuseables Val and Tina Love Locks

Meet Jellycat Amuseables Val & Tina Love Locks, a pink amuseable of 15 cm that settles easily into the crook of an arm.

The piece itself

The Amuseables idea is simple and it works. An ordinary thing is given a face, two small feet and enough personality to earn a place on a shelf. Amuseables Val & Tina Love Locks reads as pink and red, and the stitching around the features is neat enough to look deliberate rather than merely cute.

Measurements and fit

Amuseables Val & Tina Love Locks stands 15 cm. We give the exact figure on every plush for one reason: it is the only number that tells you whether something will fit it. Our garment listings carry the same kind of figure, so the two can be read directly against each other without converting anything.

The collection it belongs to

Within Jellycat’s catalogue Amuseables Val & Tina Love Locks belongs to Amuseables, and that is the useful thing to know when you are choosing a second one. A range shares its finish and its proportions, so pieces from the same family photograph well together and, more practically, often share a centimetre band, which means they can share a wardrobe.

Materials and care

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. That is the whole of it. It is worth following, because heat is what turns a soft plush into a stiff one, and no amount of brushing afterwards brings the pile back.

Who it is for

It reads as novelty and fun, which makes it an easy choice for Valentine’s Day and a birthday, and it is one of the pieces people come back for a second time once they have given the first.

About A Flying Wish

A Flying Wish began with outfits and grew into the plush that wear them. Amuseables Val & Tina Love Locks is stocked here because it fits that idea, and because the pieces we design are made to last as long as the companion they are made for.
