Jellycat Kooky Cosmetic Lipstick

There is a stillness to Jellycat Kooky Cosmetic Lipstick, a red amuseable of 18 cm that asks to be picked up.

About Kooky Cosmetic Lipstick

This is one of the Amuseables, the range where everyday objects are given a face and a pair of feet. The colourway is red and black, and it holds its shape well enough to sit up on its own rather than slump against whatever is behind it.

Size and fit

The height is 18 cm. That single figure is what our outfit listings are matched against, which is why it is printed here rather than a rough category. If you are buying a garment at the same time, it is the only measurement you need.

Part of the Kooky Cosmetic range

The Kooky Cosmetic range is where Kooky Cosmetic Lipstick comes from. Ranges matter more than they might seem to with Jellycat, because the character of a piece is set as much by the family it belongs to as by the animal it is. Buying within one range is the reliable way to end up with a shelf that looks deliberate rather than accumulated, and our outfits are sized to follow.

Made from, and looking after it

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Nothing here needs special products. Warm water and a mild detergent are what the fabric was finished with in the first place, and anything stronger works against it.

Who it is for

It sits on the novelty and fun side of the shop and is most often bought for a birthday and no particular reason at all. The kind of thing that ends up staying, rather than being put away after a week.

Where this sits in our shop

A Flying Wish is a small operation and it shows in the useful way: orders are packed by the people who made the garments, and the plush, Kooky Cosmetic Lipstick among them, are checked rather than shipped straight from a box. The outfits are ours, the plush are Jellycat’s, and the sizing between them is the part we take care of.
