Jellycat Rolbie Black Sheep

Jellycat Rolbie Black Sheep comes in two sizes, 15 cm and 28 cm, a black sheep soft the whole way through.

About Rolbie Black Sheep

Pick Rolbie Black Sheep up and the weight is the first thing you notice: enough to feel substantial, not enough to be awkward in a child’s arms. The colourway runs black, and the pile is brushed in one direction so it catches the light.

Measurements and fit

Rolbie Black Sheep measures 15 cm and 28 cm depending on the size chosen. Heights are taken from the base to the top of the head rather than the tip of an ear, which is the figure the size guide lists, so a shelf or a cot space can be judged before it arrives.

Where it sits in the Jellycat range

Rolbie Black Sheep is part of Rolbie. If you have one already, the rest of that range is the obvious place to look next, and the centimetre sizes overlap often enough that an outfit bought for one will usually fit another. We keep the range listed together for exactly that reason, and the size guide has the full table of what fits what.

Made from, and looking after it

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Cool water and a little time are all it asks. Avoid wringing it out, since that is what distorts the seams, and press the water out with a towel instead.

Suitability

Filed under everyday companion, and chosen here for a birthday and no particular reason at all more than anything else. It reads as considered rather than expensive, which is usually the harder thing to get right in a gift.

About A Flying Wish

Two things happen in this shop. We make outfits for plush companions, and we stock the companions themselves, Rolbie Black Sheep included. Keeping both under one roof is the only way to be certain that what we sell to dress a plush actually fits the plush we sold.
