Jellycat Huddles Duck

There is a stillness to Jellycat Huddles Duck, a yellow duck of 24 cm that asks to be picked up.

About Huddles Duck

The proportions are doing the work here. Slightly heavier through the base than the head, so Huddles Duck sits rather than topples, in a colourway of yellow that stays readable in a nursery with the lights low.

How big it is

Huddles Duck measures 24 cm. Heights are taken from the base to the top of the head rather than the tip of an ear, which is the figure the size guide lists, so a shelf or a cot space can be judged before it arrives.

Where it sits in the Jellycat range

Huddles Duck belongs to Jellycat’s Huddles range, which is the part of the catalogue we stock most deeply because it is the part customers come back for. Pieces from one range tend to sit well together, so if you are building a set rather than buying a single companion it is worth looking across the rest of it. We list what is in stock on the Huddles pages, and the sizes are given in centimetres throughout so you can see at a glance which of our outfits will fit which piece.

Made from, and looking after it

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Left to dry naturally it keeps its shape, and the stitched features come through a wash unchanged, which is the advantage of embroidery over anything printed or glued.

Suitability

As a gift it works for a birthday and no particular reason at all, and it belongs to the everyday companion side of what we stock. If you are buying for someone who already has one or two, the range it comes from is worth a look for something that will sit beside them.

Why we stock it

A Flying Wish began with outfits and grew into the plush that wear them. Huddles Duck is stocked here because it fits that idea, and because the pieces we design are made to last as long as the companion they are made for.
