Jellycat Little Pig

Meet Jellycat Little Pig, a pink pig of 18 cm that settles easily into the crook of an arm.

The piece itself

Pick Little Pig up and the weight is the first thing you notice: enough to feel substantial, not enough to be awkward in a child’s arms. The colourway runs pink, and the pile is brushed in one direction so it catches the light.

Size and fit

The measurement is 18 cm. Worth knowing to the centimetre rather than roughly, because our outfits are listed by the height they are cut for and a few centimetres is the difference between a dress that closes and one that does not. Measure base to head, and the size guide will tell you the rest.

Where it sits in the Jellycat range

Little Pig sits within the Little range. We keep a range together on the shelf and on the site, because the pieces were designed to be seen that way, and because the sizes within a range often overlap enough that a single outfit fits more than one of them. The size guide sets out the centimetre bands, and every garment we make is listed against one of them.

Made from, and looking after it

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. That is the whole of it. It is worth following, because heat is what turns a soft plush into a stiff one, and no amount of brushing afterwards brings the pile back.

Who it is for

We list it under everyday companion, and it is picked here mostly for a birthday and no particular reason at all. Big enough to notice when it is unwrapped, and not so big that it has to find a permanent home the same day.

About A Flying Wish

Two things happen in this shop. We make outfits for plush companions, and we stock the companions themselves, Little Pig included. Keeping both under one roof is the only way to be certain that what we sell to dress a plush actually fits the plush we sold.
