Jellycat Little Chick

Jellycat Little Chick is 18 cm of yellow chick, and the weight of it is the first thing anyone notices.

What it is like to hold

The proportions are doing the work here. Slightly heavier through the base than the head, so Little Chick sits rather than topples, in a colourway of yellow that stays readable in a nursery with the lights low.

Measurements and fit

Little Chick stands 18 cm. We give the exact figure on every plush for one reason: it is the only number that tells you whether something will fit it. Our garment listings carry the same kind of figure, so the two can be read directly against each other without converting anything.

Part of the Little range

Little Chick is part of Little. If you have one already, the rest of that range is the obvious place to look next, and the centimetre sizes overlap often enough that an outfit bought for one will usually fit another. We keep the range listed together for exactly that reason, and the size guide has the full table of what fits what.

Fabric and washing

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Cool water and a little time are all it asks. Avoid wringing it out, since that is what distorts the seams, and press the water out with a towel instead.

Suitability

It is as fitting for a birthday as for no particular occasion at all. It is also one of the safer choices when you do not know the room it is going into, because it does not insist on a colour scheme.

Why we stock it

A Flying Wish began with outfits and grew into the plush that wear them. Little Chick is stocked here because it fits that idea, and because the pieces we design are made to last as long as the companion they are made for.
