Jellycat Nesting Chickies

A yellow farm animal at 13 cm, Jellycat Nesting Chickies belongs to the part of Jellycat’s range made for holding.

A closer look

What distinguishes Nesting Chickies is the texture. It is the same everywhere you touch it, with no hard seams and no stiff patches, and the colourway of yellow is matched across the ears and paws rather than left to chance at the cutting stage.

How big it is

The height is 13 cm. That single figure is what our outfit listings are matched against, which is why it is printed here rather than a rough category. If you are buying a garment at the same time, it is the only measurement you need.

The collection it belongs to

Nesting Chickies sits within the Jellycat Characters range. We keep a range together on the shelf and on the site, because the pieces were designed to be seen that way, and because the sizes within a range often overlap enough that a single outfit fits more than one of them. The size guide sets out the centimetre bands, and every garment we make is listed against one of them.

Fabric and washing

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Kept out of direct sunlight the colour holds for years. Fading is the one kind of wear that cannot be undone, and a sunny windowsill does it faster than handling ever will.

Who it is for

We list it under everyday companion, and it is picked here mostly for Easter and a birthday. Big enough to notice when it is unwrapped, and not so big that it has to find a permanent home the same day.

Why we stock it

A Flying Wish stocks Jellycat plush alongside the outfits we design and make ourselves. Every piece is designed with purpose, made to fit many beloved plush companions, and the two halves of the shop are meant to be used together. Nesting Chickies is one of the plush our outfits are cut to fit, and the size guide sets out which pieces work with which band.
