Jellycat Little Rooster

Jellycat Little Rooster is a cream farm animal from Jellycat, and it stands 18 cm tall.

A closer look

The fur is the soft, slightly weighted kind that has made Jellycat’s animals hard to put down. The colourway is cream and red, and the face is stitched rather than printed, so it keeps its expression through washing and through years of being carried about.

How big it is

The height is 18 cm. That single figure is what our outfit listings are matched against, which is why it is printed here rather than a rough category. If you are buying a garment at the same time, it is the only measurement you need.

Part of the Little range

Within Jellycat’s catalogue Little Rooster belongs to Little, and that is the useful thing to know when you are choosing a second one. A range shares its finish and its proportions, so pieces from the same family photograph well together and, more practically, often share a centimetre band, which means they can share a wardrobe.

Materials and care

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Washing by hand keeps the nap on the fabric, which is the part a machine cycle flattens first, and it is the difference between a plush that still looks new after two years and one that does not.

Choosing it as a gift

Filed under everyday companion, and chosen here for a birthday and no particular reason at all more than anything else. It reads as considered rather than expensive, which is usually the harder thing to get right in a gift.

About A Flying Wish

A Flying Wish is a small operation and it shows in the useful way: orders are packed by the people who made the garments, and the plush, Little Rooster among them, are checked rather than shipped straight from a box. The outfits are ours, the plush are Jellycat’s, and the sizing between them is the part we take care of.
