Jellycat Clippy Clop Bay Pony

A brown pony at 15 cm, Jellycat Clippy Clop Bay Pony belongs to the part of Jellycat’s range made for holding.

What it is like to hold

Clippy Clop Bay Pony has the quality that is hard to photograph and obvious in the hand, which is evenness. No thin patches, no hard filling anywhere, and a colourway of brown carried right through to the underside rather than stopping where it stops being visible.

Measurements and fit

Clippy Clop Bay Pony measures 15 cm. Heights are taken from the base to the top of the head rather than the tip of an ear, which is the figure the size guide lists, so a shelf or a cot space can be judged before it arrives.

Where it sits in the Jellycat range

Clippy Clop Bay Pony sits within the Clippy Clop range. We keep a range together on the shelf and on the site, because the pieces were designed to be seen that way, and because the sizes within a range often overlap enough that a single outfit fits more than one of them. The size guide sets out the centimetre bands, and every garment we make is listed against one of them.

Materials and care

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Nothing here needs special products. Warm water and a mild detergent are what the fabric was finished with in the first place, and anything stronger works against it.

Who it is for

It sits on the everyday companion side of the shop and is most often bought for a birthday and no particular reason at all. The kind of thing that ends up staying, rather than being put away after a week.

Why we stock it

A Flying Wish stocks Jellycat plush alongside the outfits we design and make ourselves. Every piece is designed with purpose, made to fit many beloved plush companions, and the two halves of the shop are meant to be used together. Clippy Clop Bay Pony is one of the plush our outfits are cut to fit, and the size guide sets out which pieces work with which band.
