Jellycat Bashful Calf
Bashful Calf arrives in brown that holds the light rather than swallowing it. There is a personality in the stitching, and it does most of the talking. It holds its own outline instead of folding into a heap. It photographs well and lives better.

Jellycat Bashful Calf is a brown farm animal from Jellycat, and it stands 31 cm tall.
A closer look
Bashful Calf is made from the dense, brushed fabric Jellycat uses across its animals. The colouring is brown and cream, deepest along the back and lighter underneath, which is what gives the shape its softness in photographs and in a dim room.
Size and fit
Bashful Calf stands 31 cm. We give the exact figure on every plush for one reason: it is the only number that tells you whether something will fit it. Our garment listings carry the same kind of figure, so the two can be read directly against each other without converting anything.
The collection it belongs to
The Bashful range is where Bashful Calf comes from. Ranges matter more than they might seem to with Jellycat, because the character of a piece is set as much by the family it belongs to as by the animal it is. Buying within one range is the reliable way to end up with a shelf that looks deliberate rather than accumulated, and our outfits are sized to follow.
Made from, and looking after it
Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Spot cleaning handles most of what happens day to day, and a full wash is rarely needed more than once or twice a year unless it has been somewhere muddy.
Who it is for
It sits on the everyday companion side of the shop and is most often bought for a birthday and no particular reason at all. The kind of thing that ends up staying, rather than being put away after a week.
About A Flying Wish
