Jellycat Yani Yeti

There is a stillness to Jellycat Yani Yeti, a white animal of 28 cm that asks to be picked up.

The piece itself

Pick Yani Yeti up and the weight is the first thing you notice: enough to feel substantial, not enough to be awkward in a child’s arms. The colourway runs white, and the pile is brushed in one direction so it catches the light.

Measurements and fit

Yani Yeti stands 28 cm. We give the exact figure on every plush for one reason: it is the only number that tells you whether something will fit it. Our garment listings carry the same kind of figure, so the two can be read directly against each other without converting anything.

Part of the Jellycat Characters range

Yani Yeti belongs to Jellycat’s Jellycat Characters range, which is the part of the catalogue we stock most deeply because it is the part customers come back for. Pieces from one range tend to sit well together, so if you are building a set rather than buying a single companion it is worth looking across the rest of it. We list what is in stock on the Jellycat Characters pages, and the sizes are given in centimetres throughout so you can see at a glance which of our outfits will fit which piece.

Fabric and washing

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Cool water and a little time are all it asks. Avoid wringing it out, since that is what distorts the seams, and press the water out with a towel instead.

Who it is for

It is as fitting for a birthday as for no particular occasion at all. It is also one of the safer choices when you do not know the room it is going into, because it does not insist on a colour scheme.

Where this sits in our shop

A Flying Wish is a small operation and it shows in the useful way: orders are packed by the people who made the garments, and the plush, Yani Yeti among them, are checked rather than shipped straight from a box. The outfits are ours, the plush are Jellycat’s, and the sizing between them is the part we take care of.
