Jellycat Fuddlewuddle Lion

Meet Jellycat Fuddlewuddle Lion, a beige lion of 31 cm that settles easily into the crook of an arm.

About Fuddlewuddle Lion

The fur is the soft, slightly weighted kind that has made Jellycat’s animals hard to put down. The colourway is beige, and the face is stitched rather than printed, so it keeps its expression through washing and through years of being carried about.

Measurements and fit

Fuddlewuddle Lion stands 31 cm. We give the exact figure on every plush for one reason: it is the only number that tells you whether something will fit it. Our garment listings carry the same kind of figure, so the two can be read directly against each other without converting anything.

Where it sits in the Jellycat range

This one comes from the Fuddlewuddle range. Jellycat design in ranges rather than one piece at a time, and it shows: the proportions, the face and the finish carry across, which is why collectors tend to buy two or three from the same family rather than one from each. Our own outfits are cut to centimetre bands for the same reason, so a piece bought a year later still has something in the wardrobe that fits it.

Fabric and washing

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Spot cleaning handles most of what happens day to day, and a full wash is rarely needed more than once or twice a year unless it has been somewhere muddy.

Suitability

It reads as everyday companion, which makes it an easy choice for a birthday and no particular reason at all, and it is one of the pieces people come back for a second time once they have given the first.

About A Flying Wish

A Flying Wish stocks Jellycat plush alongside the outfits we design and make ourselves. Every piece is designed with purpose, made to fit many beloved plush companions, and the two halves of the shop are meant to be used together. Fuddlewuddle Lion is one of the plush our outfits are cut to fit, and the size guide sets out which pieces work with which band.
