Jellycat Little Snake

Jellycat Little Snake is a green snake from Jellycat, and it stands 16 cm tall.

The piece itself

The proportions are doing the work here. Slightly heavier through the base than the head, so Little Snake sits rather than topples, in a colourway of green that stays readable in a nursery with the lights low.

Measurements and fit

Little Snake stands 16 cm. We give the exact figure on every plush for one reason: it is the only number that tells you whether something will fit it. Our garment listings carry the same kind of figure, so the two can be read directly against each other without converting anything.

Part of the Little range

Little Snake is part of Little. If you have one already, the rest of that range is the obvious place to look next, and the centimetre sizes overlap often enough that an outfit bought for one will usually fit another. We keep the range listed together for exactly that reason, and the size guide has the full table of what fits what.

Fabric and washing

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. That is the whole of it. It is worth following, because heat is what turns a soft plush into a stiff one, and no amount of brushing afterwards brings the pile back.

Who it is for

Filed under everyday companion, and chosen here for a birthday and no particular reason at all more than anything else. It reads as considered rather than expensive, which is usually the harder thing to get right in a gift.

Why we stock it

What we are trying to build is a shop where a companion and something for it to wear can be chosen in the same visit without any measuring anxiety. Little Snake is part of that, sized and banded so the outfit pages can be read against it directly.
