Jellycat Kara Kangaroo

Jellycat Kara Kangaroo stands 37 cm tall, a brown animal with the quiet heft Jellycat is known for.

About Kara Kangaroo

What distinguishes Kara Kangaroo is the texture. It is the same everywhere you touch it, with no hard seams and no stiff patches, and the colourway of brown is matched across the ears and paws rather than left to chance at the cutting stage.

Size and fit

Kara Kangaroo stands 37 cm. We give the exact figure on every plush for one reason: it is the only number that tells you whether something will fit it. Our garment listings carry the same kind of figure, so the two can be read directly against each other without converting anything.

Where it sits in the Jellycat range

Kara Kangaroo sits within the Jellycat Characters range. We keep a range together on the shelf and on the site, because the pieces were designed to be seen that way, and because the sizes within a range often overlap enough that a single outfit fits more than one of them. The size guide sets out the centimetre bands, and every garment we make is listed against one of them.

Made from, and looking after it

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Reshape it while it is damp and it dries the way it was made. That takes a minute and it is the only part of the process that really matters.

Suitability

We list it under everyday companion, and it is picked here mostly for a birthday and no particular reason at all. Big enough to notice when it is unwrapped, and not so big that it has to find a permanent home the same day.

Why we stock it

We are an outfit house first. The plush we stock, Kara Kangaroo among them, are the companions those outfits are made for, and we list every garment by the centimetre band it fits so nothing has to be guessed at. Each piece is checked before it is wrapped and sent.
