Jellycat Bashful Snow Tiger

Jellycat Bashful Snow Tiger is a snow white tiger from Jellycat, and it stands 31 cm tall.

The piece itself

Bashful Snow Tiger has the quality that is hard to photograph and obvious in the hand, which is evenness. No thin patches, no hard filling anywhere, and a colourway of snow white and grey carried right through to the underside rather than stopping where it stops being visible.

Measurements and fit

Bashful Snow Tiger stands 31 cm. We give the exact figure on every plush for one reason: it is the only number that tells you whether something will fit it. Our garment listings carry the same kind of figure, so the two can be read directly against each other without converting anything.

Part of the Bashful range

Bashful Snow Tiger belongs to Jellycat’s Bashful range, which is the part of the catalogue we stock most deeply because it is the part customers come back for. Pieces from one range tend to sit well together, so if you are building a set rather than buying a single companion it is worth looking across the rest of it. We list what is in stock on the Bashful pages, and the sizes are given in centimetres throughout so you can see at a glance which of our outfits will fit which piece.

Fabric and washing

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Reshape it while it is damp and it dries the way it was made. That takes a minute and it is the only part of the process that really matters.

Choosing it as a gift

It is as fitting for a birthday as for no particular occasion at all. It is also one of the safer choices when you do not know the room it is going into, because it does not insist on a colour scheme.

Where this sits in our shop

We are an outfit house first. The plush we stock, Bashful Snow Tiger among them, are the companions those outfits are made for, and we list every garment by the centimetre band it fits so nothing has to be guessed at. Each piece is checked before it is wrapped and sent.
