Jellycat Sienna Seahorse

At 28 cm, Jellycat Sienna Seahorse is a brown seahorse built to be carried rather than shelved.

The piece itself

The proportions are doing the work here. Slightly heavier through the base than the head, so Sienna Seahorse sits rather than topples, in a colourway of brown that stays readable in a nursery with the lights low.

Measurements and fit

At 28 cm, Sienna Seahorse is easy to size up against an outfit. Measure your own plush from the base to the top of the head and compare the two numbers directly. The size guide carries the full table, and every garment we make names the height it is cut for.

Part of the Jellycat Characters range

The Jellycat Characters range is where Sienna Seahorse comes from. Ranges matter more than they might seem to with Jellycat, because the character of a piece is set as much by the family it belongs to as by the animal it is. Buying within one range is the reliable way to end up with a shelf that looks deliberate rather than accumulated, and our outfits are sized to follow.

Made from, and looking after it

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Reshape it while it is damp and it dries the way it was made. That takes a minute and it is the only part of the process that really matters.

Suitability

Filed under everyday companion, and chosen here for a birthday and no particular reason at all more than anything else. It reads as considered rather than expensive, which is usually the harder thing to get right in a gift.

Where this sits in our shop

Two things happen in this shop. We make outfits for plush companions, and we stock the companions themselves, Sienna Seahorse included. Keeping both under one roof is the only way to be certain that what we sell to dress a plush actually fits the plush we sold.
