Jellycat Godfrey Whale Shark

Jellycat Godfrey Whale Shark stands 40 cm tall, a blue whale with the quiet heft Jellycat is known for.

A closer look

The proportions are doing the work here. Slightly heavier through the base than the head, so Godfrey Whale Shark sits rather than topples, in a colourway of blue and white that stays readable in a nursery with the lights low.

Size and fit

The height is 40 cm. That single figure is what our outfit listings are matched against, which is why it is printed here rather than a rough category. If you are buying a garment at the same time, it is the only measurement you need.

The collection it belongs to

Within Jellycat’s catalogue Godfrey Whale Shark belongs to Jellycat Characters, and that is the useful thing to know when you are choosing a second one. A range shares its finish and its proportions, so pieces from the same family photograph well together and, more practically, often share a centimetre band, which means they can share a wardrobe.

Made from, and looking after it

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Nothing here needs special products. Warm water and a mild detergent are what the fabric was finished with in the first place, and anything stronger works against it.

Choosing it as a gift

The piece leans everyday companion, and it has been chosen most often here for a birthday and no particular reason at all. It wraps well, which matters more than it sounds when something is being given rather than kept.

About A Flying Wish

What we are trying to build is a shop where a companion and something for it to wear can be chosen in the same visit without any measuring anxiety. Godfrey Whale Shark is part of that, sized and banded so the outfit pages can be read against it directly.
