Jellycat Galumphous Seal
Meet Galumphous Seal, in grey with a little blue behind it, calm and cool. It has come up from somewhere blue and cold and taken the calm with it. Filled evenly, so it keeps its shape after an afternoon of being held. It suits a nursery, a desk or a grown adult who will not admit it.

There is a stillness to Jellycat Galumphous Seal, a grey seal of 31 cm that asks to be picked up.
What it is like to hold
The proportions are doing the work here. Slightly heavier through the base than the head, so Galumphous Seal sits rather than topples, in a colourway of grey that stays readable in a nursery with the lights low.
Size and fit
At 31 cm, Galumphous Seal is easy to size up against an outfit. Measure your own plush from the base to the top of the head and compare the two numbers directly. The size guide carries the full table, and every garment we make names the height it is cut for.
The collection it belongs to
Galumphous Seal is part of Jellycat Characters. If you have one already, the rest of that range is the obvious place to look next, and the centimetre sizes overlap often enough that an outfit bought for one will usually fit another. We keep the range listed together for exactly that reason, and the size guide has the full table of what fits what.
Materials and care
Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Reshape it while it is damp and it dries the way it was made. That takes a minute and it is the only part of the process that really matters.
Who it is for
It reads as everyday companion, which makes it an easy choice for a birthday and no particular reason at all, and it is one of the pieces people come back for a second time once they have given the first.
Where this sits in our shop
Everything we make is built to celebrate the stories people share with the companions they keep. Galumphous Seal sits on our shelves for that reason, and our own outfits are cut to fit it and the rest of the plush in its band. The size guide has the full table.
