Jellycat Odell Octopus

A lilac octopus at 75 cm, Jellycat Odell Octopus belongs to the part of Jellycat’s range made for holding.

About Odell Octopus

Odell Octopus has the quality that is hard to photograph and obvious in the hand, which is evenness. No thin patches, no hard filling anywhere, and a colourway of lilac carried right through to the underside rather than stopping where it stops being visible.

How big it is

Odell Octopus measures 75 cm. Heights are taken from the base to the top of the head rather than the tip of an ear, which is the figure the size guide lists, so a shelf or a cot space can be judged before it arrives.

Part of the Jellycat Characters range

Odell Octopus is part of Jellycat Characters. If you have one already, the rest of that range is the obvious place to look next, and the centimetre sizes overlap often enough that an outfit bought for one will usually fit another. We keep the range listed together for exactly that reason, and the size guide has the full table of what fits what.

Made from, and looking after it

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. That is the whole of it. It is worth following, because heat is what turns a soft plush into a stiff one, and no amount of brushing afterwards brings the pile back.

Suitability

As a gift it works for a birthday and no particular reason at all, and it belongs to the everyday companion side of what we stock. If you are buying for someone who already has one or two, the range it comes from is worth a look for something that will sit beside them.

Where this sits in our shop

Our outfits are cut, sewn and finished by us, not bought in, and the plush we stock are chosen because our pieces fit them. Odell Octopus is one of those. If you are buying both at once, the centimetre band on this page is the number the garment listings are matched against.

Available in 2 sizes: 23 cm and 75 cm. Choose yours above.
