A brown woodland animal from Jellycat, Jellycat Mitzi Reindeer is stocked in two sizes, 25 cm and 36 cm so there is one to suit the shelf it is going on.
About Mitzi Reindeer
The fur is the soft, slightly weighted kind that has made Jellycat’s animals hard to put down. The colourway is brown, and the face is stitched rather than printed, so it keeps its expression through washing and through years of being carried about.
Size and fit
At 25 cm and 36 cm depending on the size chosen, Mitzi Reindeer is easy to size up against an outfit. Measure your own plush from the base to the top of the head and compare the two numbers directly. The size guide carries the full table, and every garment we make names the height it is cut for.
Where it sits in the Jellycat range
This one comes from the Christmas Characters range. Jellycat design in ranges rather than one piece at a time, and it shows: the proportions, the face and the finish carry across, which is why collectors tend to buy two or three from the same family rather than one from each. Our own outfits are cut to centimetre bands for the same reason, so a piece bought a year later still has something in the wardrobe that fits it.
Materials and care
Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Cool water and a little time are all it asks. Avoid wringing it out, since that is what distorts the seams, and press the water out with a towel instead.
Choosing it as a gift
The piece leans everyday companion, and it has been chosen most often here for Christmas and a birthday. It wraps well, which matters more than it sounds when something is being given rather than kept.
Where this sits in our shop
A Flying Wish is a small operation and it shows in the useful way: orders are packed by the people who made the garments, and the plush, Mitzi Reindeer among them, are checked rather than shipped straight from a box. The outfits are ours, the plush are Jellycat’s, and the sizing between them is the part we take care of.
