Jellycat Mummy Bob

A white festive character at 33 cm, Jellycat Mummy Bob belongs to the part of Jellycat’s range made for holding.

A closer look

What distinguishes Mummy Bob is the texture. It is the same everywhere you touch it, with no hard seams and no stiff patches, and the colourway of white is matched across the ears and paws rather than left to chance at the cutting stage.

Size and fit

At 33 cm, Mummy Bob is easy to size up against an outfit. Measure your own plush from the base to the top of the head and compare the two numbers directly. The size guide carries the full table, and every garment we make names the height it is cut for.

The collection it belongs to

Mummy Bob sits within the Jellycat Characters range. We keep a range together on the shelf and on the site, because the pieces were designed to be seen that way, and because the sizes within a range often overlap enough that a single outfit fits more than one of them. The size guide sets out the centimetre bands, and every garment we make is listed against one of them.

Made from, and looking after it

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Reshape it while it is damp and it dries the way it was made. That takes a minute and it is the only part of the process that really matters.

Suitability

Filed under christmas / festive, and chosen here for Halloween and Christmas more than anything else. It reads as considered rather than expensive, which is usually the harder thing to get right in a gift.

Why we stock it

Two things happen in this shop. We make outfits for plush companions, and we stock the companions themselves, Mummy Bob included. Keeping both under one roof is the only way to be certain that what we sell to dress a plush actually fits the plush we sold.
