Vivacious Aubergine Vampire

A aubergine purple amuseable at 30 cm, Jellycat Vivacious Aubergine Vampire belongs to the part of Jellycat’s range made for holding.

A closer look

This is one of the Amuseables, the range where everyday objects are given a face and a pair of feet. The colourway is aubergine purple, and it holds its shape well enough to sit up on its own rather than slump against whatever is behind it.

Measurements and fit

Vivacious Aubergine Vampire measures 30 cm. Heights are taken from the base to the top of the head rather than the tip of an ear, which is the figure the size guide lists, so a shelf or a cot space can be judged before it arrives.

Part of the Vivacious Vegetable range

This one comes from the Vivacious Vegetable range. Jellycat design in ranges rather than one piece at a time, and it shows: the proportions, the face and the finish carry across, which is why collectors tend to buy two or three from the same family rather than one from each. Our own outfits are cut to centimetre bands for the same reason, so a piece bought a year later still has something in the wardrobe that fits it.

Made from, and looking after it

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Spot cleaning handles most of what happens day to day, and a full wash is rarely needed more than once or twice a year unless it has been somewhere muddy.

Choosing it as a gift

It reads as amuseables food and drink, which makes it an easy choice for Halloween and a birthday, and it is one of the pieces people come back for a second time once they have given the first.

Where this sits in our shop

Our outfits are cut, sewn and finished by us, not bought in, and the plush we stock are chosen because our pieces fit them. Vivacious Aubergine Vampire is one of those. If you are buying both at once, the centimetre band on this page is the number the garment listings are matched against.
