Jellycat Amuseables Apple

A red amuseable at 16 cm, Jellycat Amuseables Apple belongs to the part of Jellycat’s range made for holding.

A closer look

The Amuseables idea is simple and it works. An ordinary thing is given a face, two small feet and enough personality to earn a place on a shelf. Amuseables Apple reads as red and green, and the stitching around the features is neat enough to look deliberate rather than merely cute.

How big it is

The measurement is 16 cm. Worth knowing to the centimetre rather than roughly, because our outfits are listed by the height they are cut for and a few centimetres is the difference between a dress that closes and one that does not. Measure base to head, and the size guide will tell you the rest.

Part of the Amuseables range

Amuseables Apple belongs to Jellycat’s Amuseables range, which is the part of the catalogue we stock most deeply because it is the part customers come back for. Pieces from one range tend to sit well together, so if you are building a set rather than buying a single companion it is worth looking across the rest of it. We list what is in stock on the Amuseables pages, and the sizes are given in centimetres throughout so you can see at a glance which of our outfits will fit which piece.

Made from, and looking after it

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Kept out of direct sunlight the colour holds for years. Fading is the one kind of wear that cannot be undone, and a sunny windowsill does it faster than handling ever will.

Choosing it as a gift

It sits on the amuseables food and drink side of the shop and is most often bought for a birthday and no particular reason at all. The kind of thing that ends up staying, rather than being put away after a week.

Where this sits in our shop

We are an outfit house first. The plush we stock, Amuseables Apple among them, are the companions those outfits are made for, and we list every garment by the centimetre band it fits so nothing has to be guessed at. Each piece is checked before it is wrapped and sent.
