Jellycat Vivacious Vegetable Aubergine

Meet Jellycat Vivacious Vegetable Aubergine, a aubergine purple amuseable of 17 cm that settles easily into the crook of an arm.

About Vivacious Vegetable Aubergine

This is one of the Amuseables, the range where everyday objects are given a face and a pair of feet. The colourway is aubergine purple, and it holds its shape well enough to sit up on its own rather than slump against whatever is behind it.

Measurements and fit

Vivacious Vegetable Aubergine stands 17 cm. We give the exact figure on every plush for one reason: it is the only number that tells you whether something will fit it. Our garment listings carry the same kind of figure, so the two can be read directly against each other without converting anything.

Part of the Vivacious Vegetable range

Vivacious Vegetable Aubergine belongs to Jellycat’s Vivacious Vegetable range, which is the part of the catalogue we stock most deeply because it is the part customers come back for. Pieces from one range tend to sit well together, so if you are building a set rather than buying a single companion it is worth looking across the rest of it. We list what is in stock on the Vivacious Vegetable pages, and the sizes are given in centimetres throughout so you can see at a glance which of our outfits will fit which piece.

Made from, and looking after it

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Washing by hand keeps the nap on the fabric, which is the part a machine cycle flattens first, and it is the difference between a plush that still looks new after two years and one that does not.

Who it is for

Filed under amuseables food and drink, and chosen here for a birthday and no particular reason at all more than anything else. It reads as considered rather than expensive, which is usually the harder thing to get right in a gift.

Where this sits in our shop

A Flying Wish stocks Jellycat plush alongside the outfits we design and make ourselves. Every piece is designed with purpose, made to fit many beloved plush companions, and the two halves of the shop are meant to be used together. Vivacious Vegetable Aubergine is one of the plush our outfits are cut to fit, and the size guide sets out which pieces work with which band.
