Jellycat Amuseable Banana

A yellow amuseable at 28 cm, Jellycat Amuseables Banana belongs to the part of Jellycat’s range made for holding.

The piece itself

This is one of the Amuseables, the range where everyday objects are given a face and a pair of feet. The colourway is yellow, and it holds its shape well enough to sit up on its own rather than slump against whatever is behind it.

How big it is

At 28 cm, Amuseables Banana is easy to size up against an outfit. Measure your own plush from the base to the top of the head and compare the two numbers directly. The size guide carries the full table, and every garment we make names the height it is cut for.

Part of the Amuseables range

Amuseables Banana belongs to Jellycat’s Amuseables range, which is the part of the catalogue we stock most deeply because it is the part customers come back for. Pieces from one range tend to sit well together, so if you are building a set rather than buying a single companion it is worth looking across the rest of it. We list what is in stock on the Amuseables pages, and the sizes are given in centimetres throughout so you can see at a glance which of our outfits will fit which piece.

Materials and care

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Nothing here needs special products. Warm water and a mild detergent are what the fabric was finished with in the first place, and anything stronger works against it.

Suitability

It is as fitting for a birthday as for no particular occasion at all. It is also one of the safer choices when you do not know the room it is going into, because it does not insist on a colour scheme.

Where this sits in our shop

What we are trying to build is a shop where a companion and something for it to wear can be chosen in the same visit without any measuring anxiety. Amuseables Banana is part of that, sized and banded so the outfit pages can be read against it directly.
