Jellycat Fabulous Fruit Apple

Jellycat Fabulous Fruit Apple stands 8 cm tall, a red amuseable with the quiet heft Jellycat is known for.

A closer look

Fabulous Fruit Apple comes from the Amuseables, which take a familiar object and make a character of it. The colours run red and green, and the fabric has the faint nap that stops a plush looking flat in daylight, which is most of why these photograph as well as they do.

Measurements and fit

At 8 cm, Fabulous Fruit Apple is easy to size up against an outfit. Measure your own plush from the base to the top of the head and compare the two numbers directly. The size guide carries the full table, and every garment we make names the height it is cut for.

Part of the Fabulous Fruit range

Fabulous Fruit Apple sits within the Fabulous Fruit range. We keep a range together on the shelf and on the site, because the pieces were designed to be seen that way, and because the sizes within a range often overlap enough that a single outfit fits more than one of them. The size guide sets out the centimetre bands, and every garment we make is listed against one of them.

Fabric and washing

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. That is the whole of it. It is worth following, because heat is what turns a soft plush into a stiff one, and no amount of brushing afterwards brings the pile back.

Suitability

It sits on the amuseables food and drink side of the shop and is most often bought for a birthday and no particular reason at all. The kind of thing that ends up staying, rather than being put away after a week.

Where this sits in our shop

A Flying Wish began with outfits and grew into the plush that wear them. Fabulous Fruit Apple is stocked here because it fits that idea, and because the pieces we design are made to last as long as the companion they are made for.
