Fabulous Fruit Pear jellycat
Meet Fabulous Fruit Pear jellycat, in green with garden in it, restful and unbright. Kitchen-table charm, the sort of thing that makes a shelf smile. Filled evenly, so it keeps its shape after an afternoon of being held. It suits a nursery, a desk or a grown adult who will not admit it.

Jellycat Fabulous Fruit Pear is a green amuseable from Jellycat, and it stands 11 cm tall.
About Fabulous Fruit Pear
This is one of the Amuseables, the range where everyday objects are given a face and a pair of feet. The colourway is green, and it holds its shape well enough to sit up on its own rather than slump against whatever is behind it.
Size and fit
Fabulous Fruit Pear measures 11 cm. Heights are taken from the base to the top of the head rather than the tip of an ear, which is the figure the size guide lists, so a shelf or a cot space can be judged before it arrives.
The collection it belongs to
This one comes from the Fabulous Fruit range. Jellycat design in ranges rather than one piece at a time, and it shows: the proportions, the face and the finish carry across, which is why collectors tend to buy two or three from the same family rather than one from each. Our own outfits are cut to centimetre bands for the same reason, so a piece bought a year later still has something in the wardrobe that fits it.
Fabric and washing
Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Reshape it while it is damp and it dries the way it was made. That takes a minute and it is the only part of the process that really matters.
Choosing it as a gift
As a gift it works for a birthday and no particular reason at all, and it belongs to the amuseables food and drink side of what we stock. If you are buying for someone who already has one or two, the range it comes from is worth a look for something that will sit beside them.
Why we stock it
A Flying Wish began with outfits and grew into the plush that wear them. Fabulous Fruit Pear is stocked here because it fits that idea, and because the pieces we design are made to last as long as the companion they are made for.
