Jellycat Heccaty Hootnightly Owl

Jellycat Heccaty Hootnightly Owl is 17 cm of grey owl, and the weight of it is the first thing anyone notices.

The piece itself

Pick Heccaty Hootnightly Owl up and the weight is the first thing you notice: enough to feel substantial, not enough to be awkward in a child’s arms. The colourway runs grey, and the pile is brushed in one direction so it catches the light.

Measurements and fit

At 17 cm, Heccaty Hootnightly Owl is easy to size up against an outfit. Measure your own plush from the base to the top of the head and compare the two numbers directly. The size guide carries the full table, and every garment we make names the height it is cut for.

Where it sits in the Jellycat range

This one comes from the Jellycat Characters range. Jellycat design in ranges rather than one piece at a time, and it shows: the proportions, the face and the finish carry across, which is why collectors tend to buy two or three from the same family rather than one from each. Our own outfits are cut to centimetre bands for the same reason, so a piece bought a year later still has something in the wardrobe that fits it.

Made from, and looking after it

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Cool water and a little time are all it asks. Avoid wringing it out, since that is what distorts the seams, and press the water out with a towel instead.

Suitability

As a gift it works for Halloween and a birthday, and it belongs to the everyday companion side of what we stock. If you are buying for someone who already has one or two, the range it comes from is worth a look for something that will sit beside them.

About A Flying Wish

We are an outfit house first. The plush we stock, Heccaty Hootnightly Owl among them, are the companions those outfits are made for, and we list every garment by the centimetre band it fits so nothing has to be guessed at. Each piece is checked before it is wrapped and sent.
