Bartholomew Bear 'Snow Suit'

Jellycat Bartholomew Bear ‘Snow Suit’ stands 26 cm tall, a snow white bear with the quiet heft Jellycat is known for.

What it is like to hold

Bartholomew Bear ‘Snow Suit’ is made from the dense, brushed fabric Jellycat uses across its animals. The colouring is snow white and brown, deepest along the back and lighter underneath, which is what gives the shape its softness in photographs and in a dim room.

Size and fit

The measurement is 26 cm. Worth knowing to the centimetre rather than roughly, because our outfits are listed by the height they are cut for and a few centimetres is the difference between a dress that closes and one that does not. Measure base to head, and the size guide will tell you the rest.

The collection it belongs to

The Bartholomew Bear range is where Bartholomew Bear ‘Snow Suit’ comes from. Ranges matter more than they might seem to with Jellycat, because the character of a piece is set as much by the family it belongs to as by the animal it is. Buying within one range is the reliable way to end up with a shelf that looks deliberate rather than accumulated, and our outfits are sized to follow.

Materials and care

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Washing by hand keeps the nap on the fabric, which is the part a machine cycle flattens first, and it is the difference between a plush that still looks new after two years and one that does not.

Who it is for

Its register is everyday companion, which puts it squarely in the Christmas and a birthday bracket. It is also one of the safer choices when you do not know the room it is going into, because it does not insist on a colour scheme.

About A Flying Wish

What we are trying to build is a shop where a companion and something for it to wear can be chosen in the same visit without any measuring anxiety. Bartholomew Bear ‘Snow Suit’ is part of that, sized and banded so the outfit pages can be read against it directly.
