Jellycat Cozy Crew Crab
Cozy Crew Crab arrives in red with berry in it rather than fire. Something of the tide in it, patient, unbothered, endlessly turning over. It asks for nothing and gets adopted anyway.

Jellycat Cozy Crew Crab is a red crab from Jellycat, and it stands 13 cm tall.
What it is like to hold
Pick Cozy Crew Crab up and the weight is the first thing you notice: enough to feel substantial, not enough to be awkward in a child’s arms. The colourway runs red, and the pile is brushed in one direction so it catches the light.
Size and fit
The measurement is 13 cm. Worth knowing to the centimetre rather than roughly, because our outfits are listed by the height they are cut for and a few centimetres is the difference between a dress that closes and one that does not. Measure base to head, and the size guide will tell you the rest.
Part of the Cozy Crew range
The Cozy Crew range is where Cozy Crew Crab comes from. Ranges matter more than they might seem to with Jellycat, because the character of a piece is set as much by the family it belongs to as by the animal it is. Buying within one range is the reliable way to end up with a shelf that looks deliberate rather than accumulated, and our outfits are sized to follow.
Fabric and washing
Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Cool water and a little time are all it asks. Avoid wringing it out, since that is what distorts the seams, and press the water out with a towel instead.
Who it is for
As a gift it works for a birthday and no particular reason at all, and it belongs to the everyday companion side of what we stock. If you are buying for someone who already has one or two, the range it comes from is worth a look for something that will sit beside them.
Why we stock it
Everything we make is built to celebrate the stories people share with the companions they keep. Cozy Crew Crab sits on our shelves for that reason, and our own outfits are cut to fit it and the rest of the plush in its band. The size guide has the full table.
