Jellycat Clippy Clop Palomino Pony

Jellycat Clippy Clop Palomino Pony is a beige pony from Jellycat, and it stands 15 cm tall.

What it is like to hold

Pick Clippy Clop Palomino Pony up and the weight is the first thing you notice: enough to feel substantial, not enough to be awkward in a child’s arms. The colourway runs beige and cream, and the pile is brushed in one direction so it catches the light.

Measurements and fit

Clippy Clop Palomino Pony stands 15 cm. We give the exact figure on every plush for one reason: it is the only number that tells you whether something will fit it. Our garment listings carry the same kind of figure, so the two can be read directly against each other without converting anything.

The collection it belongs to

Within Jellycat’s catalogue Clippy Clop Palomino Pony belongs to Clippy Clop, and that is the useful thing to know when you are choosing a second one. A range shares its finish and its proportions, so pieces from the same family photograph well together and, more practically, often share a centimetre band, which means they can share a wardrobe.

Materials and care

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. That is the whole of it. It is worth following, because heat is what turns a soft plush into a stiff one, and no amount of brushing afterwards brings the pile back.

Suitability

It sits on the everyday companion side of the shop and is most often bought for a birthday and no particular reason at all. The kind of thing that ends up staying, rather than being put away after a week.

Why we stock it

Two things happen in this shop. We make outfits for plush companions, and we stock the companions themselves, Clippy Clop Palomino Pony included. Keeping both under one roof is the only way to be certain that what we sell to dress a plush actually fits the plush we sold.
