Jellycat Bewitching Cat
Bewitching Cat arrives in deep black with a soft, unglossy finish. A cat that has decided the warmest place in the house is wherever it is put. It holds its own outline instead of folding into a heap. It photographs well and lives better.
Sold by A Flying Wish, an independent shop not affiliated with Jellycat or any other brand. Stock is limited to the units we hold.

About Bewitching Cat
Pick Bewitching Cat up and the weight is the first thing you notice: enough to feel substantial, not enough to be awkward in a child’s arms. The colourway runs black, and the pile is brushed in one direction so it catches the light.
Size and fit
At 23 cm, Bewitching Cat is easy to size up against an outfit. Measure your own plush from the base to the top of the head and compare the two numbers directly. The size guide carries the full table, and every garment we make names the height it is cut for.
The collection it belongs to
Bewitching Cat belongs to Jellycat’s Bewitching range, which is the part of the catalogue we stock most deeply because it is the part customers come back for. Pieces from one range tend to sit well together, so if you are building a set rather than buying a single companion it is worth looking across the rest of it. We list what is in stock on the Bewitching pages, and the sizes are given in centimetres throughout so you can see at a glance which of our outfits will fit which piece.
Materials and care
Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Reshape it while it is damp and it dries the way it was made. That takes a minute and it is the only part of the process that really matters.
Who it is for
We list it under everyday companion, and it is picked here mostly for Halloween and a birthday. Big enough to notice when it is unwrapped, and not so big that it has to find a permanent home the same day.
Why we stock it
We are an outfit house first. The plush we stock, Bewitching Cat among them, are the companions those outfits are made for, and we list every garment by the centimetre band it fits so nothing has to be guessed at. Each piece is checked before it is wrapped and sent.
