Jellycat Kitten Caboodle

Jellycat Kitten Caboodle is 10 cm of cream kitten, and the weight of it is the first thing anyone notices.

What it is like to hold

Pick Kitten Caboodle up and the weight is the first thing you notice: enough to feel substantial, not enough to be awkward in a child’s arms. The colourway runs cream and black, and the pile is brushed in one direction so it catches the light.

Size and fit

At 10 cm, Kitten Caboodle is easy to size up against an outfit. Measure your own plush from the base to the top of the head and compare the two numbers directly. The size guide carries the full table, and every garment we make names the height it is cut for.

Part of the Kitten Caboodle range

This one comes from the Kitten Caboodle range. Jellycat design in ranges rather than one piece at a time, and it shows: the proportions, the face and the finish carry across, which is why collectors tend to buy two or three from the same family rather than one from each. Our own outfits are cut to centimetre bands for the same reason, so a piece bought a year later still has something in the wardrobe that fits it.

Made from, and looking after it

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. That is the whole of it. It is worth following, because heat is what turns a soft plush into a stiff one, and no amount of brushing afterwards brings the pile back.

Suitability

It reads as everyday companion, which makes it an easy choice for a birthday and no particular reason at all, and it is one of the pieces people come back for a second time once they have given the first.

Why we stock it

We are an outfit house first. The plush we stock, Kitten Caboodle among them, are the companions those outfits are made for, and we list every garment by the centimetre band it fits so nothing has to be guessed at. Each piece is checked before it is wrapped and sent.
