Jellycat Amuseable Yule Log

Jellycat Amuseables Yule Log is a chocolate brown amuseable from Jellycat, and it stands 21 cm tall.

The piece itself

Amuseables Yule Log comes from the Amuseables, which take a familiar object and make a character of it. The colours run chocolate brown, and the fabric has the faint nap that stops a plush looking flat in daylight, which is most of why these photograph as well as they do.

How big it is

At 21 cm, Amuseables Yule Log is easy to size up against an outfit. Measure your own plush from the base to the top of the head and compare the two numbers directly. The size guide carries the full table, and every garment we make names the height it is cut for.

Where it sits in the Jellycat range

Amuseables Yule Log is part of Amuseables. If you have one already, the rest of that range is the obvious place to look next, and the centimetre sizes overlap often enough that an outfit bought for one will usually fit another. We keep the range listed together for exactly that reason, and the size guide has the full table of what fits what.

Fabric and washing

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. That is the whole of it. It is worth following, because heat is what turns a soft plush into a stiff one, and no amount of brushing afterwards brings the pile back.

Choosing it as a gift

The piece leans amuseables food and drink, and it has been chosen most often here for Christmas and a birthday. It wraps well, which matters more than it sounds when something is being given rather than kept.

Where this sits in our shop

Two things happen in this shop. We make outfits for plush companions, and we stock the companions themselves, Amuseables Yule Log included. Keeping both under one roof is the only way to be certain that what we sell to dress a plush actually fits the plush we sold.
