Jellycat Amuseables Pain Au Chocolat

Jellycat Amuseables Pain au Chocolat arrives as a golden brown amuseable, 9 cm from base to ear tip, soft the whole way through.

About Amuseables Pain au Chocolat

Amuseables Pain au Chocolat comes from the Amuseables, which take a familiar object and make a character of it. The colours run golden brown and chocolate brown, and the fabric has the faint nap that stops a plush looking flat in daylight, which is most of why these photograph as well as they do.

How big it is

The measurement is 9 cm. Worth knowing to the centimetre rather than roughly, because our outfits are listed by the height they are cut for and a few centimetres is the difference between a dress that closes and one that does not. Measure base to head, and the size guide will tell you the rest.

Where it sits in the Jellycat range

Amuseables Pain au Chocolat belongs to Jellycat’s Amuseables range, which is the part of the catalogue we stock most deeply because it is the part customers come back for. Pieces from one range tend to sit well together, so if you are building a set rather than buying a single companion it is worth looking across the rest of it. We list what is in stock on the Amuseables pages, and the sizes are given in centimetres throughout so you can see at a glance which of our outfits will fit which piece.

Made from, and looking after it

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Washing by hand keeps the nap on the fabric, which is the part a machine cycle flattens first, and it is the difference between a plush that still looks new after two years and one that does not.

Suitability

It is as fitting for a birthday as for no particular occasion at all. It is also one of the safer choices when you do not know the room it is going into, because it does not insist on a colour scheme.

Why we stock it

We are an outfit house first. The plush we stock, Amuseables Pain au Chocolat among them, are the companions those outfits are made for, and we list every garment by the centimetre band it fits so nothing has to be guessed at. Each piece is checked before it is wrapped and sent.
