Jellycat Amuseables Titia Teapot

Jellycat Amuseables Titia Teapot stands 19 cm tall, a white amuseable with the quiet heft Jellycat is known for.

About Amuseables Titia Teapot

Amuseables work because the joke is gentle. Amuseables Titia Teapot is white and blue, given a face and two feet and otherwise left to be the thing it is, and the restraint is the reason it still looks right on a shelf a year later.

Measurements and fit

Amuseables Titia Teapot measures 19 cm. Heights are taken from the base to the top of the head rather than the tip of an ear, which is the figure the size guide lists, so a shelf or a cot space can be judged before it arrives.

Part of the Amuseables range

This one comes from the Amuseables range. Jellycat design in ranges rather than one piece at a time, and it shows: the proportions, the face and the finish carry across, which is why collectors tend to buy two or three from the same family rather than one from each. Our own outfits are cut to centimetre bands for the same reason, so a piece bought a year later still has something in the wardrobe that fits it.

Fabric and washing

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Nothing here needs special products. Warm water and a mild detergent are what the fabric was finished with in the first place, and anything stronger works against it.

Suitability

The piece leans amuseables food and drink, and it has been chosen most often here for a birthday and no particular reason at all. It wraps well, which matters more than it sounds when something is being given rather than kept.

About A Flying Wish

Two things happen in this shop. We make outfits for plush companions, and we stock the companions themselves, Amuseables Titia Teapot included. Keeping both under one roof is the only way to be certain that what we sell to dress a plush actually fits the plush we sold.
