Amuseables Yulan Taro Cake

At 13 cm, Jellycat Amuseables Yulan Taro Cake is a purple amuseable built to be carried rather than shelved.

The piece itself

Amuseables Yulan Taro Cake comes from the Amuseables, which take a familiar object and make a character of it. The colours run purple and cream, and the fabric has the faint nap that stops a plush looking flat in daylight, which is most of why these photograph as well as they do.

How big it is

The measurement is 13 cm. Worth knowing to the centimetre rather than roughly, because our outfits are listed by the height they are cut for and a few centimetres is the difference between a dress that closes and one that does not. Measure base to head, and the size guide will tell you the rest.

The collection it belongs to

Amuseables Yulan Taro Cake sits within the Amuseables range. We keep a range together on the shelf and on the site, because the pieces were designed to be seen that way, and because the sizes within a range often overlap enough that a single outfit fits more than one of them. The size guide sets out the centimetre bands, and every garment we make is listed against one of them.

Materials and care

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Nothing here needs special products. Warm water and a mild detergent are what the fabric was finished with in the first place, and anything stronger works against it.

Choosing it as a gift

As a gift it works for a birthday and no particular reason at all, and it belongs to the amuseables food and drink side of what we stock. If you are buying for someone who already has one or two, the range it comes from is worth a look for something that will sit beside them.

About A Flying Wish

Our outfits are cut, sewn and finished by us, not bought in, and the plush we stock are chosen because our pieces fit them. Amuseables Yulan Taro Cake is one of those. If you are buying both at once, the centimetre band on this page is the number the garment listings are matched against.
