Jellycat Amuseables Chilli Pepper

Jellycat Amuseables Chilli Pepper stands 17 cm tall, a red amuseable with the quiet heft Jellycat is known for.

The piece itself

This is one of the Amuseables, the range where everyday objects are given a face and a pair of feet. The colourway is red and green, and it holds its shape well enough to sit up on its own rather than slump against whatever is behind it.

Measurements and fit

Amuseables Chilli Pepper stands 17 cm. We give the exact figure on every plush for one reason: it is the only number that tells you whether something will fit it. Our garment listings carry the same kind of figure, so the two can be read directly against each other without converting anything.

Where it sits in the Jellycat range

Amuseables Chilli Pepper is part of Amuseables. If you have one already, the rest of that range is the obvious place to look next, and the centimetre sizes overlap often enough that an outfit bought for one will usually fit another. We keep the range listed together for exactly that reason, and the size guide has the full table of what fits what.

Fabric and washing

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Kept out of direct sunlight the colour holds for years. Fading is the one kind of wear that cannot be undone, and a sunny windowsill does it faster than handling ever will.

Suitability

The piece leans amuseables food and drink, and it has been chosen most often here for a birthday and no particular reason at all. It wraps well, which matters more than it sounds when something is being given rather than kept.

Where this sits in our shop

Our outfits are cut, sewn and finished by us, not bought in, and the plush we stock are chosen because our pieces fit them. Amuseables Chilli Pepper is one of those. If you are buying both at once, the centimetre band on this page is the number the garment listings are matched against.
