Jellycat Pretty Patisserie Tarte Aux Fraises

At 9 cm, Jellycat Pretty Patisserie Tarte aux Fraises is a red amuseable built to be carried rather than shelved.

About Pretty Patisserie Tarte aux Fraises

The Amuseables idea is simple and it works. An ordinary thing is given a face, two small feet and enough personality to earn a place on a shelf. Pretty Patisserie Tarte aux Fraises reads as red and golden brown, and the stitching around the features is neat enough to look deliberate rather than merely cute.

How big it is

Pretty Patisserie Tarte aux Fraises measures 9 cm. Heights are taken from the base to the top of the head rather than the tip of an ear, which is the figure the size guide lists, so a shelf or a cot space can be judged before it arrives.

Where it sits in the Jellycat range

Pretty Patisserie Tarte aux Fraises sits within the Pretty Patisserie range. We keep a range together on the shelf and on the site, because the pieces were designed to be seen that way, and because the sizes within a range often overlap enough that a single outfit fits more than one of them. The size guide sets out the centimetre bands, and every garment we make is listed against one of them.

Fabric and washing

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Spot cleaning handles most of what happens day to day, and a full wash is rarely needed more than once or twice a year unless it has been somewhere muddy.

Choosing it as a gift

It reads as amuseables food and drink, which makes it an easy choice for a birthday and no particular reason at all, and it is one of the pieces people come back for a second time once they have given the first.

Why we stock it

Two things happen in this shop. We make outfits for plush companions, and we stock the companions themselves, Pretty Patisserie Tarte aux Fraises included. Keeping both under one roof is the only way to be certain that what we sell to dress a plush actually fits the plush we sold.
