Jellycat Amuseable Peanut

There is a stillness to Jellycat Amuseables Peanut, a beige amuseable of 15 cm that asks to be picked up.

What it is like to hold

Amuseables work because the joke is gentle. Amuseables Peanut is beige, given a face and two feet and otherwise left to be the thing it is, and the restraint is the reason it still looks right on a shelf a year later.

Size and fit

Amuseables Peanut stands 15 cm. We give the exact figure on every plush for one reason: it is the only number that tells you whether something will fit it. Our garment listings carry the same kind of figure, so the two can be read directly against each other without converting anything.

The collection it belongs to

Amuseables Peanut belongs to Jellycat’s Amuseables range, which is the part of the catalogue we stock most deeply because it is the part customers come back for. Pieces from one range tend to sit well together, so if you are building a set rather than buying a single companion it is worth looking across the rest of it. We list what is in stock on the Amuseables pages, and the sizes are given in centimetres throughout so you can see at a glance which of our outfits will fit which piece.

Materials and care

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Nothing here needs special products. Warm water and a mild detergent are what the fabric was finished with in the first place, and anything stronger works against it.

Suitability

As a gift it works for a birthday and no particular reason at all, and it belongs to the amuseables food and drink side of what we stock. If you are buying for someone who already has one or two, the range it comes from is worth a look for something that will sit beside them.

About A Flying Wish

A Flying Wish stocks Jellycat plush alongside the outfits we design and make ourselves. Every piece is designed with purpose, made to fit many beloved plush companions, and the two halves of the shop are meant to be used together. Amuseables Peanut is one of the plush our outfits are cut to fit, and the size guide sets out which pieces work with which band.
