Jellycat Amuseables Wedding Cake

At 30 cm, Jellycat Amuseables Wedding Cake is a white amuseable built to be carried rather than shelved.

What it is like to hold

Amuseables Wedding Cake comes from the Amuseables, which take a familiar object and make a character of it. The colours run white and cream, and the fabric has the faint nap that stops a plush looking flat in daylight, which is most of why these photograph as well as they do.

Size and fit

The height is 30 cm. That single figure is what our outfit listings are matched against, which is why it is printed here rather than a rough category. If you are buying a garment at the same time, it is the only measurement you need.

Where it sits in the Jellycat range

The Amuseables range is where Amuseables Wedding Cake comes from. Ranges matter more than they might seem to with Jellycat, because the character of a piece is set as much by the family it belongs to as by the animal it is. Buying within one range is the reliable way to end up with a shelf that looks deliberate rather than accumulated, and our outfits are sized to follow.

Fabric and washing

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Nothing here needs special products. Warm water and a mild detergent are what the fabric was finished with in the first place, and anything stronger works against it.

Choosing it as a gift

The piece leans amuseables food and drink, and it has been chosen most often here for a wedding and a birthday. It wraps well, which matters more than it sounds when something is being given rather than kept.

About A Flying Wish

Everything we make is built to celebrate the stories people share with the companions they keep. Amuseables Wedding Cake sits on our shelves for that reason, and our own outfits are cut to fit it and the rest of the plush in its band. The size guide has the full table.
